My trip to Edinburgh was out of this world! My day of exploring and photographing the Old Town was an amazing experience, and I really enjoyed capturing the mix of old and modern architecture that makes up the city centre. I managed to see an exhibition focusing on the work of Cindy Sherman, and her series of self-portraits - although all my photography so far has had nothing to do with portraiture, I did some experimentation with documentary photography that involved people earlier in the year, and so I thought it would be interesting to see. Her use of shadows and the overall composition of her images are very interesting, due to the images looking 3D due to the shadows.
