After attending a photography talk featuring two working photographers, I really appreciated the work and perspective of Katharine MacDaid. Featuring her most recent work involving the Alaskan wilderness, with the title of 'The Fireweed Turns'. I really liked narrative that went along with the work, and the collective work itself was very powerful and effective of telling a 'fairytale' to the viewer, which the photographer said her aim was.
